EVANGELIST IKECHUKWU BEDE DIHO
THE THRONE OF GRACE
As I approach the Throne of Grace
And fall before it on my face
I cry to the Lord, my eyes all teary
Lord, give me strength, for I am weary
My burdens are heavy, and I feel so weak
My pride is strong, Lord, help me be meek
Work is hard, there's no time to pray
Forgive me, O Lord, on this very day!
Then the Lord took me to His heart.
My special child, 'You've made a start!
"Your sins are forgiven, your strength I renew.
I'll take care of your burdens, like I promised to.
Your pride, I will humble. Work I'll make small.
Give me your troubles, I'll take them all!
When you feel down, Just look above,
My sweet child....
It's you that I love"
Written by: Mary Ann Bachmeier & her Lord and Saviour
I'd like to share how God used me during prayer. Let me explain... I use to suffer depression during different times
of the year so I understand how it can render one exhausted. I received an urgent prayer request that a member of my church
was suffering severe depression and I began to lift him in prayer. During my prayer, I began to be filled with all these words.
I put them to paper and drove to this man's house. He read the poem (as it turned out to be) and was grateful. He said that
it was exactly how he felt. I have since shared this with others and just tried to share God's love and mercies with others.
I pray that this might bless at least one person.
My child. Know that I'm with you. I know your heart.
Don't feel guilty that, what Satan is putting
Keep running to me as children run to their parents. I'm here.

Statement Of Faith
(1) 2 Timothy 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction,
for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness
(in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), 17 So that the man of God may be complete and
proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(2) We believe that the One Triune God exits eternally
in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(3) We believe that Jesus Christ is God, was born on earth of a virgin,
died vicariously, shedding his blood as man?s substitution sacrifice, rose from the dead bodily, and ascended into heaved
where He is exalted at the Father?s right hand.
(4) We believe that salvation consists of the remission of sins, the
imputation of Christ?s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life is received by God's grace alone, through faith alone,
in Christ alone, apart from works.
(5) 1 Timothy 2: 5 There is one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ. We believe
the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who always existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Fully God and fully
man, the sinless Lamb that was slain for the sins of the world.
(6)In the regeneration, sanctifying, in dwelling and
sealing work of the Holy Spirit who baptizes each believer into the Body of Christ, the Church, upon his acceptance of the
Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe you must be Born Again with evidence of a changed heart and life to enter the kingdom
(7)John3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he
is born again." 4"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's
womb to be born!"
5Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of
water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
(8) In the Holy Trinity. The
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit 1John 5:7 For there are three that testify [bear] record in heaven, the Father, the Word*,
and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
(9)John 1: 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We
have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. [the only begotten]
The return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and that it will be visible and personal.
(11) Jesus Christ commanded the church
to go into the world and preach the gospel to everyone, baptizing and teaching those who believe.
(12) We believe in
the will, power, and providence of God to meet our every need in His service.
(13) We believe Jesus is the Sabbath
and it doesn't matter what day you come together to worship Him.
(14)Colossians 2:16 Therefore do not let anyone judge
you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. (15)We believe in a literal Hell.
Mark 9:42 - 45, Causing to Sin
42"And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would
be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck. 43 If your hand causes you to sin,
cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out 45
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown
into hell. (Gehenna) 47And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with
one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
if your foot is a cause of stumbling and sin to you, cut it off! It is more profitable and wholesome for you to enter into
life [that is really worthwhile] crippled than, having two feet, to be cast into hell (Gehenna) Hebrews 6: 4 It is impossible
for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have
tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6 if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance,
because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
2:3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness
is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (16) We believe in a literal Heaven. Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and
a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
(17) Matthew 24
The Day and Hour Unknown 36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the
Father. [ we are to keep watch, be sober and look for the signs.
(18)1Corinthians 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling
of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
[We believe in the catching away ( the Rapture ) at "The Last Trump." ] (19) We believe there are diversity of gifts for today,
but the same Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians12:
(20) We believe God uses both men and women to fulfill His will whoever
is the most willing. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male
nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Thank you for your interest in what we believe. The Bible refers to deception
at least 53 times in the New Testament. During this unprecedented time, we need to be obedient to the Apostle Paul's exhortation
to... "Study to show yourselves approved, rightly dividing the word of God".
EVERY GOOD THING
Phil 4:19 And my God will liberally supply your every need according to His riches
in glory in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor
and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm
34:10 The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their
need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. Matthew7:8 Keep on asking and it will
be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone
who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.
What man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? If he asks for a fish, will hand
him a serpent? IfYou then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will
your Father who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him! Matthew
6:32 For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well
that you need them all. But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing
and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
MEET YOUR NEEDS
O fear the Lord, you His saints [revere and worship Him]! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with
godly fear. The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of
their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. Psalm 23:1 THE LORD is my Shepherd
[to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. John 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain
in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. Proverbs 10:24 The thing
a wicked man fears shall come upon him, but the desire of the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall be granted.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Mark
11:24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted
to you, and you will [get it]. ALL THINGS
1 Corinthians 3:21 So let no one exult proudly concerning men [boasting of
having this or that man as a leader], for all things are yours, 22Whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas (Peter), or the universe
or life or death, or the immediate and threatening present or the [subsequent and uncertain] future--all are yours, 23And
you are Christ's, and Christ is God's. Matthew 21:2 And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing,
you will receive.
LIBERALLY AND FREELY
James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving
God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him. Romans
8:32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and
graciously give us all [other] things?
Matthew 18:19 Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree
(harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass
and be done for them by My Father in heaven. John 14:14 [Yes] I will grant [ I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall
ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM
Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord
Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to You. I take a stand
against all the workings of satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the True and Living God
and refuse any involvement of satan in my prayer. Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my
presence with all your demons.
I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. It surrounds me like a mighty
wall that you cannot penetrate. Heavenly Father, I worship You and give You praise. I recognize that You are worthy to receive
all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this
time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity and that You sent the Lord Jesus
Christ into the world to die as my substitute. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative and that
through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have adopted me into your family; You have assumed all responsibility for
me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified.
I am thankful that in Him, you have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and strength.
Heavenly Father, open my eyes that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this day. I am thankful
that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the Cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am
seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies.
I take my place with Him in he heavenlies and recognize by faith that
all wicked spirits and Satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that satan and his wicked spirits are subject
to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the Armor You have provided. I put on the Girdle of Truth, the
Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the Shield of Faith against all
the fiery darts of the enemy; and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. I choose to use Your Word against
all the forces of evil in my life. I put on this Armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit.
I am grateful, Heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly
and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject all the insinuations, and accusations,
and the temptations of Satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true and I choose to live today in the light of God's Word.
I choose, Heavenly Father, to live in obedience to You and in fellowship with Yourself.
Open my eyes and show me the
areas of my life that do not please You. Work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give satan a foothold against
me. I do in every way stand into all that it means to be Your adopted child and I welcome all the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the fleshly works of the evil one and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion
where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the Your holiness and stand into all the victory
of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me to live above sin. Therefore, today I put off all forms of selfishness
and put on the new nature with its love.
I put off all forms of fear and put on the new nature with its courage. I
put off all forms of weakness and put on the new nature with its strength. I put off all forms of lust and put on the new
nature with its righteousness, purity, and honesty. I am trusting You to show me how to make this practical in my daily life.
In every way I stand into the victory of the ascension and glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby all the principalities
and powers were made subject to Him.
I claim my place in Christ as victorious with Him over all the enemies of my
soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe.
I am thankful, Heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word. I, therefore,
claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places
in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and
peace, with long-suffering, gentleness and goodness, with meekness, faithfulness and self-control in my life.
that this is Your will for me and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavors of satan and his wicked spirits to rob me
of the will of god. I refuse in this day to believe my feelings and I hold up the Shield of Faith against all the accusations
and distortion and insinuations that satan would put into my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for my life today.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I completely surrender myself to You, Heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose
not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me
Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of Your will today.
I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons
of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord
Jesus Christ. Therefore, in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of satan and smash the plans of satan that have
been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy
I affirm, Heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of
a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of satan formed against my emotions today and I give my emotions to you. I
smash the strongholds of satan formed against my will today, I give my will to You and choose to make the right decisions
of faith. I smash the strongholds of satan formed against my body today, I give my body to You recognizing that I am your
temple. I rejoice in Your mercy and goodness.
Heavenly Father, I pray that now and through this day You would strengthen
and enlighten me. Show me the way satan is hindering and tempting and lying and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me
to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer and faith. Enable me to be aggressive
mentally, to think about and practice Your Word, and to give You Your rightful place in my life. Again, I cover myself with
the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all
the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today.
surrender myself to You. I refuse to be discouraged. You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting
Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way this victory over all the satanic forces in my life. I pray in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and praise to You, alone. Amen
THE PRAYER OF JABEZ
And Jabez called on the God of Israel,
saying, Oh that
thou wouldest bless me indeed,
and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might
be with me, and that thou wouldest keep
me from evil,
that it may not grieve me!
And God granted him that which he requested."
1 Chronicles 4:10
MATTHEW HENRY COMMENTARY:
The most remarkable person
in this chapter is Jabez.
We are not told upon what account Jabez was more
honourable than his brethren; but we find
he was a praying man. The way to be truly great,
is to seek to do God's will, and to pray earnestly.
is the prayer he made. Jabez prayed to the
living and true God, who alone can hear and answer
prayer; and, in prayer
he regarded him as a God in
covenant with his people. He does not express his
promise, but leaves it to be understood;
afraid to promise in his own strength, and resolved
to devote himself entirely to God. Lord, if thou wilt
me and keep me, do what thou wilt with me;
I will be at thy command and disposal for ever.
As the text reads it, this
was the language of
a most ardent and affectionate desire,
Oh that thou wouldest bless me!
Four things Jabez prayed for.
1. That God would bless him indeed. Spiritual blessings are the best blessings: God's blessings are real things,
and produce real effects.
2. That He would enlarge his coast. That God would enlarge our hearts, and so enlarge our
portion in himself, and in the heavenly Canaan, ought to be our desire and prayer.
3. That God's hand might be with
him. God's hand with us, to lead us, protect us, strengthen us, and to work all our works in us and for us, is a hand all-sufficient
4. That he would keep him from evil, the evil of sin, the evil of trouble, all the evil designs of his enemies,
that they might not hurt, nor make him a Jabez indeed, a man of sorrow. God granted that which he requested. God is ever ready
to hear prayer: his ear is not now heavy.

Recommendations for the book,
The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson
Several months ago,
a minister friend suggested I read a little book
by Bruce Wilkinson called The Prayer of Jabez about an virtually
Bible character named Jabez hidden in
First Chronicles 4:9-10. ?It?s one of the best books I?ve ever read,? he declared.
